Susan is an industrial hygienist at Oak Ridge National Laboratory supporting safety and health in the Chemical Sciences Division. She is a CIH, CSP and has been implementing EHS programs for R&D organizations for almost 30 years at University of Virginia, University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture, and now at UT-Battelle.  She was hatched as an IH by Donna Doganiero during her early experience working for the US Army, and she has a BS from University of Oregon.  She has been a beneficiary of the TVS AIHA local section conferences and professional network for decades, and is grateful for the opportunity to contribute on the board.

I am currently a Qualified Safety & Health Professional at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) supporting the Nonreactor Nuclear Facilities and Isotope Processing and Manufacturing  Divisions who holds his CIH & CSP. I am a U.S. Coast Guard Veteran and currently serving in the Tennessee Air National Guard as an Emergency Manager and Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) subject matter expert. Prior to my current role at ORNL I have spent several years working at Savannah River Site as a Sr. Industrial Hygienist. I have an undergraduate degree from Murray State Univerisy and am currenly pursuing my Masters in IH through Montana Tech.

Max currently Operations Support for the UT Battelle Physics Division at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory.  He is a Certified Safety Professional with over 30 years of experience in safety and industrial hygiene.  He holds a B.S. in Environmental Health from East Tennessee State University and both an M.S. in Safety Management and an MBA from the University of Tennessee. He is the past chair of the Energy Faciltiy Contractors Group (EFCOG) Industrial Hygiene, Safety and Chemical Management Community of Practice and currently serves on the Advisory Board for the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety Sciences at East Tennessee State University.

Michaela is a Health and Safety professional at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, where she provides ESH support to the National Security Sciences Directorate and serves as the consultant for the Unbound Engineered Nanomaterial Program. She is also a member of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Nuclear Material Verification Health & Safety Team. Michaela has been an engaged member of AIHA since joining as a student. She previously served as Chair of the AIHA Teen Workplace Safety and Health Committee and has been an active leader within the Tennessee Valley Local Section for more than 15 years.

Mark is currently an ESH&Q Coordinator at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). Prior to ORNL, he worked at Sandia National Laboratories (SNL) in the industrial hygiene department and completed  internships with Marathon Pipeline LLC, Marathon Petroleum Corporation, and CSX Transportation. Mark served as Treasurer and President of the Rio Grande Local Section of the American Industrial Hygiene Association (RGAIHA) from 2016 to 2020. He has his undergraduate degree from EKU (2011) and master’s from UAB (’13). Mark is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM).

Billey is currently an industrial hygienist at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). Prior to ORNL, he worked at UCOR and URS at various Oak Ridge DOE sites. He received his undergraduate degree in Electronic Systems Technologies with an Emphasis in Management from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, MBA from Lincoln Memorial University, and a Master of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering. Billey has been an active board member for the TVS-AIHA. He is a Certified Safety Professional and Occupation Hygiene and Safety Technician.
